Getting the Page Order Right
Most merge problems are ordering problems. A few things that help:
- Rename before you upload. Files are easiest to arrange when their names sort the way you want —
01-cover.pdf,02-terms.pdf,03-signature.pdf. Note that10-appendix.pdfsorts before2-terms.pdf, which is why the leading zero matters. - Check the seams, not the whole document. After merging, look at the first and last page of each original file. That's where ordering mistakes actually show up.
