Can I edit the text in my PDF?
Currently you can annotate text (highlight, underline, strikethrough) and redact content, but direct text editing (changing words) is on our roadmap. You can also reorder, rotate, and delete pages.
What does redaction do?
Redaction permanently removes content from the PDF. Unlike highlighting or covering text with a black box, redacted content is completely deleted from the file data — it cannot be recovered.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
You can open and view scanned PDFs, reorder pages, and add redaction marks. However, text search and text annotations require a PDF with selectable text (not just an image).
What's the maximum file size?
Free users can edit PDFs up to 50 MB. Pro subscribers get unlimited file sizes (up to 2 GB). Since everything runs in your browser, larger files may be slower on older devices.
